ORWALL is part of East Texas State District 28 which includes Northwest 45, Conroe, Tomball and Montgomery Little Leagues.
Coaches, team moms, and board members are volunteers and receive no compensation for their time. Umpires are contracted out by a local agency and are not employed by ORWALL.
ORWALL is primarily funded by our membership and sponsorship's provided by
companies within the community. ORWALL also obtains support from
Montgomery County Precinct 3.
ORWALL has Divisions from ages 4-16. Our park is 16 acres with 10
Fields, two concession stands, two restrooms and a playground.
During the Spring, well over 1,100 kids play on over 130 teams in over
900 games at ORWALL. In the Fall, we provide services to well over 900
area youth.
The top five budgeted expenses for our non-profit organization include:
Field Expenses, Umpires, Uniforms, All-Stars and Utilities . These five
expense categories typically represent 80% of the budget.
ORWALL's safety manual was recognized for being the best in Southwest
Region between 2010 and 2013 and was recognized as the best in all of
Little League in 2014!
ORWALL won several Special District All-Star tournaments in 2017.
ORWALL teams were also District 28 National All-Star tournament
champions in the 8-10 year old, Major 12, and Jr
Divisions in 2017. ORWALL's Big League team also advanced to the Big
League World Series for the second time in two years!
ORWALL is within the boundary of five High School Baseball programs:
College Park, Oak Ridge, The Woodlands High School, The John Cooper
School and the Woodlands Christian Academy.
