Volunteer Paperwork & Badge Procural

What is a Badge?
ORWALL requires all managers, coaches, assistant coaches, anyone that will be helping with the team, either in games or practices to go through a background check. The more parents that have badges, the more help the team will have. This will make for a better experience for the kids.  Basically, if you are on the field and not a player, you are required to wear an ORWALL volunteer badge for the current season (badges expire after the season ends).

How do I get a badge?
Step 1 - Complete the volunteer paperwork and submit in-person at ORWALL during the dates/times listed below.  Include a copy of your current state ID (driver's license, etc.).
Step 2 - Return to ORWALL at the next designated date/time to take your picture and receive your badge.

Process Details
The first thing you need to do is fill out the background application. This can be found HERE. The form must be completed fully, to include your SSN number. The form then needs to be turned into ORWALL Director of Safety, Daniel Cantu, on the dates below. Due to the sensitive information included in the document, NO form will be accepted via email.  Background checks take up to 48 hours to process and cannot be issued the same day as your paperwork submission.

No Badge no field. This will be enforced 100%. There are no exceptions. This is for the safety of all the players.  Background checks on volunteers is a Little League requirement
