New League Age Rules for 2015

Little League has mandated new age rules effective for 2015.

Check the DOCUMENTS tab above for new League Age Chart for 2015.

Players age 9 and under by 12/31/15 will now be subject to new age rules.  They will no longer go by their age as of April 30th.  Instead, they will be classified as League Age by their birthday as of December 31st.

This means some kids that would be in Machine Pitch under the old rules will now be in Kid Pitch.  Example:  Player turning 9 on 7/9/15 would be Machine Pitch 8 under old rule, but will now be Kid Pitch 9 under the new rule.

This means some kids that would be in T-Ball 6 under the old rules will now be in Machine Pitch 7.

This mean that some kids that would be K-Ball 5 under the old rules will now be in T-Ball 6.

If you have any questions, please contact your Division Director found listed under the BOARD tab above.

Badges Required for Volunteer Coaches / Managers

Please Wear Your Badges!

ORWALL's safety policy requires our organization to perform background checks on all volunteers that will come in contact with our registered youth players.  We issue ID badges upon successfully completing the volunteer application process.

Managers and Coaches are required to wear their ID badges when they are on the field, during practices and games, to help ensure our youth players are coming into contact with properly approved volunteers.

Umpires are enforcing the badge requirements and coaches and managers that do not display their ORWALL issued badge or board-member credentials can be asked to leave the field.

If you have not done so already, please get your volunteer application paperwork turned in and obtain an ID badge.  ORWALL has a staff member (Jennifer) on-site during most weekday afternoons who can assist in this process.

Thank you to all our volunteers for helping to ensure the safety of all our youth!
